Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deep Learning Engineer to advance our work in medical image analysis. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy deep learning models that enhance the capabilities of our robotic systems, pushing the boundaries of healthcare innovation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in developing deep learning solutions for medical imaging and have experience with product-based AI/ML applications in healthcare. Proficiency in PyTorch and related frameworks is essential.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and optimize deep learning models for medical image analysis tasks, including segmentation, classification, and detection.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate deep learning models into robotic systems.
  3. Implement, fine-tune, and deploy state-of-the-art algorithms and architectures based on recent research in the field.
  4. Develop and maintain efficient codebases and pipelines for model training, evaluation, and deployment.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and research in AI and medical imaging, with a focus on rapidly prototyping solutions.
  6. Contribute to scientific publications and presentations based on the models and techniques developed.
  7. Work in a collaborative environment, providing insights and technical leadership on best practices for deep learning and medical image analysis.

 

Qualifications

  1. 4+ years of hands-on experience in deep learning model development, with a focus on medical image analysis (e.g., CT, MRI, ultrasound).
  2. Strong expertise in implementing research papers quickly, including the ability to translate academic algorithms into efficient, production-ready code.
  3. Proficiency in PyTorch and related frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras).
  4. Solid understanding of deep learning architectures (e.g., CNNs, GNNs, Transformers) and relevant techniques (e.g., transfer learning, fine-tuning, data augmentation).
  5. Experience with dataset management, model training, and hyperparameter tuning.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work with large-scale datasets.
  7. Familiarity with version control.
  8. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
